BA Hons MBBS DRCOG MRCGP Dip Clinical Derm(Distinction) Dr Johanna Ward is The Skin Clinic’s Medical Director. She is a Consultant Gp with a special interest in cosmetic medicine, dermatology and minor surgery. She studied English at Oxford University before completing her medical studies at Guys, Kings and St Thomas’ Medical School in London. Dr Ward worked in many different medical and surgical specialties including trauma and A&E before moving into General Practice and cosmetic medicine. As a Gp Dr Ward’s special interest is dermatology and minor surgery. She holds the prestigious postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology from Queen Mary’s University London. Her dissertation on acne and acne scarring was awarded a distinction from the Examination Board. In addition she is very active in the local NHS Dermatology Community where she can be found consulting and treating patients on days when she is not in clinic. She regularly runs training courses in Botox and Fillers for medical professionals.
